About Michael J. Reimer, J.D.; Ph.D.
Author, Scholar, Public Speacker
For several decades I tried both civil and criminal cases throughout New Jersey, New York and many Federal Courts. In 2006, I returned to school to pursue the study of international relations.
In June and July, 2001, just before the world changed on 9/11, I was named as a Fellow of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and visited Germany. It was then that I decided that it was necessary to return to school and obtain a doctorate degree in International Relations. It took nearly five years to get my law practice to the point where I could return to school.
I obtained a Ph.D. in International Relations. My upcoming book Can’t Say ‘Yes’, Can’t Live With ‘No’: Analysis of Past Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations. I have presented academic papers at conferences in Istanbul and Hebrew University in Jerusalem. I have presented and published several papers about Israeli negotiations and other topics involving the Middle East.
I am considered an accepted scholar in law, political science, and international relations. I have taught classes in US Law, Constitutional Law, International Law, US Politics, World Politics and the Politics of the Middle East. In addition I have lectured on the origins of The Three Western Religions and Understanding Islam.
I frequently speak to religious and civic groups on the topics shown above.
